Training Timeline
The training journey for a missionary pilot typically takes approximately 10 years, from initial training to serving abroad. Steps include:
1. Bible Training
2. Flight Training
3. Time building (accumulating additional flight hours beyond basic licensing)
4. Missionary training (equipping me not only to fly, but also to make disciples wherever I am)
5. Advanced flight training (navigating mountainous terrains and short, unimproved airstrips)
6. Fundraising (Missionary pilots rely on the generous support of donors)
7. Culture and Language learning
